(c) copyright www.archaeologyonline.org (2004 - 2011) Page last updated 16/02/2011 The installation of the batons is almost complete, now we have reached the ring beam, all that is required are a few more batons above the ring beam to be then topped off with some wattling and then the tops of the rafters to be trimmed.  On completion of the baton installation we can then proceed with some of the thatching.
